Markets have been part of British heritage for centuries and are quickly becoming one of the most popular, trendy places to shop for bargains, one-off gems and high-quality products that you won’t find on a regular high street.


Low cost

Starting up on a market is significantly cheaper than renting a shop unit. We are upfront about our costs: there are never hidden costs or charges when it comes to your rent and service charge. We offer affordable rent levels at all of our markets and undertake extensive research of the surrounding areas to ensure we are offering competitive prices for what we offer our traders.


Dedicated site managers

All of our markets have at least one market manager. This person’s role is to build relationships with traders, make sure they are happy and everything is going well, as well as being an on-site point of contact in emergencies should a matter arise.


Great locations

We operate markets throughout England, from Cornwall to Derby and many in between. This gives us the experience and expertise to understand different audiences and consumer needs, as well as, most importantly, knowing what is best for the market and its traders.

Low risk

Short term leases are available at all of our markets, meaning that you can trial your business on as little as a one-month lease/license. We would recommend you sign for at least six months to get a thorough understanding of the market and how you can make your business as successful as possible, as well as giving yourself time to establish your business with regular customers and locals.


Inclusion in the market’s marketing and comms activity

As well as a market manager, a number of our markets also have assistants who manage the market’s marketing and communications strategy, including social media and website promotions, event planning and organisation and PR. This will always involve traders and your contributions/ideas are always welcome. We see our traders as our biggest ambassadors so your inclusion and feedback is very important to us.


Quick and easy to begin trading

Our market managers work with you to get you into the market and trading as soon as possible.

For the majority of markets, all you will need to start up is a deposit (prices vary depending on market and rent), proof of ID, proof of address and Public Liability Insurance. If you are going to be selling food, you will need to have the relevant Environment Health certificates and proof of registration with the local authority.
